Demo privacy
and limitations.

Medcursor is a healthcare product in development by Invocursor. This is a coming-soon website and synthetic workflow demonstration. It is not available for patient care. Use fictional information only, with no patient identifiers.

What works in the preview

The workspace supports fictional context, browsing condition and reference-topic metadata, workflow templates, placeholder draft entries, explicit review and copy/download. There is no diagnosis, clinical recommender, allergy or interaction screening, dose calculation, prescribing, signing, transmission, clinical validation, live stock or live EMR integration. A reviewed workflow is not a clinical assessment.

Medication names, strengths, forms, routes, doses and regimens are not supplied by the workspace. No clinical suitability score, first-line or second-line designation is assigned. The adult BMI tool displays arithmetic for fictional ages 20 or over without categories or treatment interpretation. Clinical sex, gender, pregnancy and organ-function context remain distinct; unknown information is not inferred.

Condition directory and other sources

Source: MedlinePlus, National Library of Medicine. The workspace uses a bundled snapshot of English health-topic titles, aliases, groups and source URLs. Its default clinical index uses editorial condition shortcuts and existing source aliases for professional display names. Specialty/site navigation is not a clinically validated classification. The larger reference directory is available through an optional filter. It includes conditions and other reference topics and is not an exhaustive diagnosis ontology or Canadian treatment guideline. No drug monographs, third-party encyclopedia content, summaries, or treatment rules are included in the topic import. NLM does not endorse Medcursor. Source XML documentation · Content-use information.

The smaller homepage comparison examples are fictional. Their categories and inventory counts are preset, not validated patient-specific assessments or real stock. The allergic-rhinitis example includes brief adapted context from Ellis et al., Focused allergic rhinitis practice parameter for Canada (2024), under CC BY 4.0. Wording is shortened and changed for a non-clinical demonstration. The authors do not endorse Medcursor. Original article.

Case information stays in the current tab

Fictional age, measurements, sex, gender, pregnancy, renal/hepatic context, allergy/current-medication notes, topic selections, explicitly selected specialty/site paths, draft notes and review status are held in the current tab's memory. Reloading clears the case. There is no application API, clinical AI service, account, analytics, cookie, server-side patient database, or data sent to CircularRx.

Locally saved workflow templates

When you save, import, rename, delete or favourite a workflow template, the browser's localStorage can persist that metadata under medcursor.workflow-templates.v1. The allowed fields are template name, topic IDs, placeholder count, internal template ID and favourite IDs. Patient context, draft text and medication entries are excluded. Choose template names with no patient information. Imported JSON is restricted to the supported metadata fields; other fields are discarded. Use “Clear saved templates & favourites” in Templates to remove this browser's saved data. Private browsing, browser settings or other users of the same browser may affect access and persistence.

Copying and downloads

Explicit actions place reviewed fictional draft text, JSON or template metadata on the clipboard or in a downloaded file. Those copies can persist outside this website's control. Reviewed draft text includes selected conditions with recorded specialty/site paths, output region and placeholder entries. Extension JSON includes exactly one selected placeholder, its topic ID, the synthetic notice and review metadata. Neither export includes the context panel's demographic fields, allergy notes or current-medication notes. Fictional notes you deliberately enter in a placeholder are included in its export.

Hosting and external links

Railway hosts this service separately from the operating Invocursor application. The hosting provider may process technical request information such as IP addresses, URLs, timestamps and browser details. This notice does not claim that visiting the website processes no personal information. Source links open external providers' websites without sending case information through an application integration.

Chrome extension

The unpacked Manifest V3 demo extension uses activeTab and scripting permissions. It has no background service, browser-history permission, broad host access, storage permission or remote connections. On explicit action it reads and fills the supplied synthetic form on specifically allowed demo origins. It rejects other websites and live EMRs. A reviewed JSON payload is not a verified clinician signature, a tamper-proof audit record or a clinical validation.

The popup holds its pasted draft in memory until closed or cleared. A fill preview is single-use, expires after two minutes and is rejected if the target changes. Filling never submits or signs anything. Browser-toolbar activeTab permission requires the user's explicit extension gesture.

Future clinical use

Patient use would require maintained clinical content and rights, qualified governance, independent evaluation, intended-use and regulatory assessment, privacy/security arrangements and authorised integrations. No Health Canada approval, PHIPA compliance, live EMR compatibility, clinical performance or savings claim is made.
